Where do I see my digital product sales?
In Products
In your dashboard menu, open Products. It lists every digital product you've made, each with a status:
- Live: on your page.
- Hidden: you've hidden it, so it isn't on your page.
- Draft: not published, or moved back to drafts.
- Removed: you deleted it after someone bought it. Removed products are listed at the bottom.
Each product shows how many you've sold, how many times it was viewed, and your sales in the product's currency.
Products shows each product on its own, not a total across products. For your totals, see Analytics and Earnings.
A product's page
Select Buyers on a product to open its page. At the top you'll see its Sold, Sales, Views and Conversion. Select See in Earnings to open your Earnings.
Under Buyers, each buyer is listed, newest first, with:
- their name and email address
- the date, the quantity and the amount
- how many times they've downloaded the product
- a status: Paid or Refunded
Select Checkout answers, or Answers on a larger screen, to see their answers to any questions you asked at checkout.
Buyers load 50 at a time. Select Load more to see the next ones.
If a buyer asked Tribl to delete their data, they're shown as Deleted buyer, without their details.
Sales in your dashboard
In your dashboard, select the sales line under a product, for example 12 sold · 340 views, to open Sales. It lists the same buyers, with the same Load more, Download CSV and Resend link buttons. Products you've moved back to drafts keep this line once they've sold.
What the numbers mean
- Sold counts copies, after refunds. An order of 3 copies counts as 3.
- Sales is what buyers paid, after refunds, in the product's currency. What you receive after fees is in Earnings.
- Views counts each time someone opened the product on your page, including you.
- Conversion is the number of orders divided by the number of views. In Sales it's shown as % of views bought. Each order counts once, however many copies it's for. Free orders and orders that were later refunded count too.
Download your buyers
Select Download CSV on a product's page or in Sales. The file has every buyer, not only the ones on screen.
Each row is one order, with the date, email, name, quantity, amount, currency, status and number of downloads. There's also a column for each question you asked at checkout. If you've removed a question, its answers are still there, marked (removed). Dates are in UTC.
Resend a buyer's link
If a buyer has lost their download link, select Resend link next to them, on the product's page or in Sales. Tribl emails them a new link at the address they bought with. Their old links keep working, and you never see the link yourself.
- This works for hidden and removed products too.
- You can resend a link up to 3 times in 24 hours for each order.
- Resend link isn't shown for refunded orders or deleted buyers.
By email
Each time you make a sale, Tribl emails you at your account email address with the amount, the product, the quantity and the date. You get an email for free orders too.
In Earnings and Analytics
Paid sales also appear in Earnings with your other transactions, and count towards your earnings in Analytics.
Contacting buyers
Buyers didn't agree to marketing emails by buying your product. Use their email address only to help them with their order, unless they've agreed to more.
