How do I price a digital product?
You set your product's price in the Detail Page step of the editor.
Price
- Enter a price of 0 to make the product free. Fans then get it straight away with Get it free, without paying.
- Paid products cost at least 0.50, because that's the smallest amount a card payment can be.
- The price is in the currency your account uses when you create the product. You can't change a product's currency later.
Discount
Turn on Discount to take 1 to 99% off the price. You can also choose when the discount starts and ends. Fans see the discount on the product page.
Make sure the discounted price is still at least 0.50, or fans won't be able to pay by card.
Let fans pay what they want
Turn on Let fans pay what they want and your price becomes the minimum. Fans can choose to pay more. Set the price to 0 to let fans choose freely, including getting it for free.
Quantity and limits
- Allow customers to choose a quantity: fans can buy more than one copy in one order, for example as a gift. They get one download link for the order.
- Limit product sales: set how many can be sold in total. When they're all sold, the product shows Sold out.
What you receive
You receive the price minus fees. See Fees and pricing on Tribl.
If you change the price later, it doesn't affect orders that have already been placed.
