How do I edit, hide or delete a digital product?
Edit a product
Select the edit icon on the product in your dashboard, or Edit on the product in Products. Make your changes, then select Save changes, or Save as Draft if the product is a draft.
- Price changes apply to new orders only.
- If you remove or replace a file, buyers who already bought the product lose the old file. Their link always shows the files the product has now. If the product has sales, the editor warns you before you save and tells you which files buyers will lose.
- To keep the old version for earlier buyers, leave its file in the product and add the new file next to it.
- If you switch from uploaded files to a link, buyers' download links open your link instead, and they can't download the files any more.
Stop selling a product
- Hide it: use the switch next to the product in your dashboard, or select Hide from page in the product's menu in Products.
- Move it to drafts: open the product and select Move to drafts.
Either way, the product disappears from your page and no one can buy it. Buyers can still use their download links, and you can still see its sales and buyers.
To show a hidden product again, turn the switch back on, or select Show on page in Products.
Delete a product
Select the delete icon on the product in your dashboard, or Remove in the product's menu in Products.
- If the product has sales, you're asked Remove this product? Select Remove. The product comes off your page and moves to Removed, at the bottom of Products. Buyers keep their download links. You can still see its buyers there, download them as a CSV file and resend their links. Select View in the message that appears to go straight there.
- If it has no sales, you're asked Delete this product? Select Delete, and the product and its files are deleted.
A product that someone started paying for in the last 48 hours also moves to Removed, so their order can still go through.
Restore a removed product
- In Products, find the product under Removed.
- Select Restore as draft, then select Restore as draft again to confirm.
The product comes back to your dashboard as a draft, exactly as it was, at the end of your blocks. It isn't on your page until you publish it: open it and select Publish.
You can't edit a removed product until you restore it.
If you delete your account
If you delete your Tribl account, your products and their files are deleted, including removed ones, and buyers can no longer download them.
