How do I sell a digital product on my Tribl page?

With a Digital Product block you can sell files and links straight from your Tribl page: guides, presets, templates, music, videos, courses and more. You can also give products away for free.

Before you start

  • To add any block to your page, your email address and phone number need to be verified.
  • To sell paid products, set up how you get paid in Settings first. Free products don't need this.

Create a product

In your dashboard, select Add Block, then choose Digital Product. You can also select New product in Products. The editor has three steps.

1. Product Card. This is how the product looks on your page.

  • Pick a Card Layout: Default Style shows the thumbnail, title and price. Callout also shows a sub-heading and a button.
  • Add a thumbnail, a product title and, for Callout, a sub-heading and the text for the buy button.

2. Detail Page. This is what fans see when they open the product.

  • Under Product Details, add images or videos, a title and a description.
  • Set the price. See How do I price a digital product?
  • Under Upload Digital Product, choose what buyers get:
    • Upload file: up to 20 files, each up to 100 MB.
    • Re-direct to URL: a link, for example to a course or a private video. If you leave out https://, Tribl adds it.
  • Under Settings, you can Limit product sales, Allow customers to choose a quantity, and Specify a refund policy. Your refund policy is shown to buyers on the product page.

3. Perks.

  • Under Collect information, choose what to ask buyers. Their email is always asked. You can make their full name required or remove it, and add up to 10 more questions.
  • Edit the Confirmation email buyers get with their download link. Select Reset to default to start again.

Publish

  • Select Publish to put the product on your page.
  • Select Save as Draft to keep working on it later. Drafts aren't shown on your page.

Everything you write is checked against Tribl's content rules when you publish, and every image you upload is checked too.

Good to know

  • Buyers don't need a Tribl account. They get a personal link by email and can download as often as they like.
  • Tribl emails you each time you make a sale, and Products in your dashboard menu shows every product with its sales and buyers. See Where do I see my digital product sales?
  • You're the seller of your products, so you're responsible for any taxes on your sales, such as VAT.
