How do I add a form to my Tribl page?
A Form block lets fans send you information from your Tribl page: sign-ups for a waitlist, brand enquiries, feedback, or anything else you want to ask. Forms are free to use.
Before you start
To add any block to your page, your email address and phone number need to be verified.
Add a Form block
- In your dashboard, select Add Block, then choose Form.
- Under What's this form for?, describe your form in a few words and select Draft it for me. Tribl writes a name, an introduction, a thank-you message and the questions for you. Or pick one of the templates under Or start from a template: Contact, Brand enquiry, Waitlist, Booking request, Feedback or Blank form.
- Under Customize your form, check the Form name and add an Introduction (optional).
- Check the questions. To add one, select Add Field, write the Question and pick a Field type. For each question, choose whether fans must answer it: Required or Optional.
- Under After they send it, add a Thank you message (optional) and, if you like, give fans a link or a code. See How do I give fans a reward for filling in my form?
- Open Settings if you want to change how the form works (see below).
- Select Add Form.
Your form goes live on your page straight away. To hide it without deleting it, use the switch next to it in your dashboard.
Nothing is saved until you select Add Form. If you close the editor before that, your changes are lost.
Question types
You can ask for a Name, Email, Phone, Short answer, Paragraph, Single choice, Multiple choice, Checkbox, Number, Date or Link.
- A form can have up to 20 questions.
- Choice questions need 2 to 20 options, and each option must be different.
- Each question must be different from the others.
- A Checkbox works well for a yes, or an agreement. You can choose whether it Must be ticked.
Settings
- Email me each new response: on by default. Tribl emails each response to your account email address.
- Offer email updates: adds a box fans can tick to agree that you can email them with updates. It needs an Email question on the form.
- Button text: the text on the send button. It says Submit unless you change it.
- Stop taking responses: close the form After this many responses or On this date.
- Send responses to another app: send each response to another app as it arrives. See How do I send form responses to another app?
About AI drafting
When you select Draft it for me, only the description you typed is sent to the AI service that writes the draft. Fans' answers are never sent to it. You can change everything it writes before you save. You can draft up to 20 forms an hour.
Good to know
- You can have up to 50 forms.
- Everything you write on a form is checked against Tribl's content rules when you save it. If something isn't allowed, you'll see a message asking you to change it.
- The Booking request template is a free form that collects requests. To let fans pick a time and book you directly, use a Booking block instead. See How do I offer bookings on my Tribl page?
